Meet the Farmer
“Consider how the wildflowers grow: they do not labor or spin thread. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was adorned like one of these”
Flowers have a way of making people feel seen, celebrated, and cared for. That belief is at the heart of everything I do.
My name is Kellie and I am an 18 year old flower farmer, florist, and entrepreneur. I grew up on property north of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and was homeschooled my entire life. I love spending time outdoors, camping, and being at the lake. But more than that, I absolutely love flowers.
I believe there is something truly special about flowers that are grown with care and designed with intention. I love sharing the beauty of growing your own flowers and designing with what is in season. Locally grown blooms carry a sense of place and meaning that can’t be replicated.
Whether I am creating florals for a celebration, a quiet moment, or just because, my goal is always the same. I want people to feel special, valued, and seen. Flowers have a unique way of expressing emotion, and I feel honored to create designs that help tell those stories.
Thank you for being here and for supporting thoughtfully grown and lovingly designed florals.
“Flowers are the music of the ground, from earth’s lips spoken without sound ”
My love for flowers began about five years ago when I started gathering wildflowers and turning them into simple bouquets. What began as a creative outlet slowly grew into a passion and eventually into a flower farm and floral design business. Along the way, I fell in love not just with arranging flowers, but with growing them and watching each season unfold in it’s unique and special way.
Though I started with just three dahlia plants in my mom’s vegetable garden, I quickly realized that I would need more garden space, so my dad dug up a small garden plot and fenced it in. I grew flowers there the next season and again wanted to expand my growing space. My dad took down the fence, dug up more ground, and re-fenced the garden. I still grow in a very small space, but I make the most of it, planting over thirty different types of flowers to make beautiful bouquets all season long.
My family has been there to support me along the way by helping with weeding when it was overwhelming, harvesting tulips while I am out of town, and driving over four hours to pickup the perfect vintage cut flower refrigerator for my studio. This whole journey would not be possible without them and I am so thankful for their never-ending love and support.
